Magnet Sums

Magnet Sums by Elio Landa is a puzzle game where players strategically place numbered tiles, each marked with a yellow magnet dot, onto a grid filled with numbers that carry operation symbols such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication. The yellow dot indicates the direction the tile will attract nearby numbers, pulling from the left, right, up, down, or diagonally. When a tile is placed, any numbers it pulls toward itself combine using the operation symbols attached to each number, creating dynamic interactions among positive and negative values. Players must consider number relationships, directional influence, and the order in which tiles are placed in order to clear the board. As levels advance, puzzles include more tiles, more operations, and more complex arrangements, building strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills across K–5 concepts.
