Piggy Bank

Piggy Bank is a guided money-counting activity where students break open a piggy bank, sort coins, and calculate the total value. The game supports K–5 math by helping students recognize coin values, sort and classify objects, count by ones, fives, tens, and twenty-fives, and use repeated addition to find totals. In the more advanced mode, Bacon Breaker, students connect repeated addition to multiplication and work with decimal notation as they multiply the number of each coin by its value. Piggy Bank builds understanding of place value, money, grouping, addition, multiplication, and decimal reasoning in a hands-on way.
