Midnight Snack Attack is a chess-inspired game where players take on different roles with different goals. Players can choose to play as the knights, pawns, random, or in 2-player mode. When playing as the knights, players control two white and two black knights and try to stop the pawns from reaching the snacks. When playing as the pawns, the goal is to avoid the knights and reach a snack. Once a pawn gets a snack, the game is over! As students plan moves and predict possible paths, they build K–5 math skills including spatial reasoning, patterns, position, direction, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
