Stinky Kings is a chess-inspired race where players move their king around the board to collect all their socks before the other king does. Players can choose black, white, random, or 2-player mode. The king moves just like it does in chess, one space at a time in any direction, but the two kings cannot stand next to each other. Students must plan their paths, watch the position of the other king, and decide which socks to collect next. The game builds K–5 math skills including spatial reasoning, direction, position, counting, comparing paths, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
